Global Composition provides support services to assist entrepreneurs and early stage entrepreneurial businesses. Global Composition is run by Jane Garrett, an entrepreneur in her own right, who has first hand experience of the path to success. She floated her third start-up, which began in her home living room, on London's Alternative Investment Market after bootstrapping the company, organic growth and raising equity finance. Jane is a keynote speaker on female entrepreneurship, provides presentation pitch coaching and mentoring to founders of early stage businesses. She is a regular mentor on Cambridge University Judge Business School Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning's Ignite programme and program director of Curtin University's Ignition program that is based on Ignite.

Also provided on this website is information to help the early stage entrepreneur in business planning, preparation of an investment pitch and how to go about finding finance.

See the Events page for any forthcoming events from the Gascoyne Rangeland Farmers Group.

Read a true story of female entrepreneurship - "When it'S HIT the Fan: An Entrepreneurial Roller Coaster Ride"

Read the acknowledgements:

'It is all here, the journey from kitchen table, to IPO, to bloody boardroom battles and shutting down her company. Jane tells us her story with a sense of humor, a lot of humility and a welcome dose of honesty. This is a great account of a baby boomers entrepreneurial journey leading to the internet bubble. For those of us that lived through it, this is a nostalgic tale, for those that missed out on those heady days, this book shares the passion, joy, letdowns and valuable lessons that can only be learned by chasing dreams and taking risks.'
Larry Lopez, Partner Australian Venture Consultants and formerly, MD Silicon Valley Bank, 1989-2006

'This book has been a while in the making, because it is a very personal journey; to push aside the emotional bruising of the exciting nightmare of entrepreneurship. It has been worth it though, because the author, through her personal story, has been devastatingly honest about how her journey started and progressed. Readers can set aside the dry messages of business planning books and instead learn about the twists and turns in business and how adaptable they have to be to be an entrepreneur.'
Dr Shailendra Vyakarnam, Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning, Judge Business School, University of Cambridge
